Taste of Oviedo is back for it’s 29th year presented by Oviedo Medical Center, a part of HCA Florida Healthcare and in partnership with the City of Oviedo!
Taste of Oviedo is scheduled for Saturday, March 25th, 2023, at the Oviedo Mall, 10 am to 6 pm. We’re bringing some fun, new activities to the event this year including a Beer Garden, Silent Disco, Culinary Demonstration Tent, Sports Zone, Food Trucks, Bungee Jumps and a Train. As always, we’ll have a free kid’s area with bounce houses, our STEM and arts area, our Oviedo Roots Farmer’s Market, performances on 2 stages, and food vendors with the theme being sweet & savory.
The Beer Garden area will be for 21+ adults where you can sample flight(s) of craft beer and enjoy some time away from the kids. This area will be exclusive for adults that purchase tickets to enter. Next is our Silent Disco tent. If you don’t know what that is, click here for a short video. This will be a mini party taking place at Taste inside a fully enclosed tent. The train will take you from one end of the event to the other.
The final thing we are adding is a Culinary Demo Tent sponsored by Steven's Kitchens. Under this tent will be featuring 3 different demos that will take place throughout the day. One demo will be from a home cook that wins our Recipe Contest and the other two will be local chefs in the area. They’ll have 30-45 minutes to share their favorite sweet and/or savory dish, any fun cooking skills and techniques for you to use while cooking at home. This area will be a spin-off of the Oviedo Preservation Project’s Citrus and Celery.
