Looking for a unique Fourth of July celebration in Orlando? Join us for an unforgettable evening on the river as we kick off America’s upcoming 250th anniversary with Wekiva Island’s Red, White & Blue Semiquincentennial Ball. This Americana-inspired waterfront event offers a distinctive alternative to traditional Orlando Fourth of July celebrations, bringing together live entertainment, patriotic fashion, local art, great food and drinks, and community spirit in a beautiful natural setting.
 
The evening will feature the opening of An American Tapestry at Gallery CERO, the Sounds of America music experience, festive drink specials, gourmet hot dogs from Without A Paddle Cafe, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate what makes our community special.

Military Appreciation
Veterans and active military attendees are invited to receive a complimentary weekday canoe, kayak, or paddleboard rental voucher valid through the end of 2026. Vouchers must be picked up in person during the July 2 event. Limited to the first 100 recipients. Proof of military service is required. Limit one voucher per person.
This special military appreciation event is part of Wekiva Island’s commitment to honoring veterans and active service members throughout the Central Florida community.
 
Honoring Our Local Heroes
As part of the celebration, we’re recognizing the veterans and active military members who continue to serve, lead, inspire, and strengthen our community beyond their time in uniform.
Leading up to the event, we’ll be accepting nominations for our Local Heroes Campaign, giving the community an opportunity to share the stories of deserving veterans and active service members. One honoree will be selected to receive a special Island Appreciation Prize featuring a complimentary cabana rental, food from Without A Paddle Cafe, two kayak rentals, and more.
