World Rivers Day Celebration at Wekiva Island

Come celebrate World Rivers Day at Wekiva Island! Guests can join a morning river cleanup with Keep Seminole Beautiful, a boat tour with Wekiva Wild, children’s activities and live music. There will also be a speaking event about river conservation. The event will culminate at 6 p.m. with the unveiling of Wekiva Island’s Wild & Scenic River Mural Project. Throughout the day, guests can explore the “An American Tapestry” exhibition and grab an All-American hot dog or catfish basket from Without a Paddle Café.
