Three Days in Orlando North: Epic Family Activities

We spent 3 days hanging out in Orlando North to surprise my son (Enso) with a bunch of epic activities he’s never done before! Our weekend was packed with exciting activities and hidden gems that are perfect for both kids and adults! From mouthwatering plant-based meals and thrilling rock climbing sessions to creative pottery-making and horseback riding adventures, this itinerary is filled with surprises and plenty of fun for the whole family. Let the journey begin!

Day One

It was our first day here and we’ve checked into our airbnb in historic downtown Sanford, grabbed a delicious plant based dinner and went rock climbing!

For dinner we visited Henrys Depot a cute food hall that was once an old railroad station. There’s a lot of different places to eat with some great vegan options! The coconut charcoal ice cream with hibiscus sprinkles is LIFE.

After we digested, we headed to Aiguille Climbing for some night time indoor rock climbing. This place is so much fun but be prepared to wake up sore as heck!

Day Two

It’s was our second day in Orlando North and the first order of business was grabbing breakfast at New City Coffee Co. If you’re a coffee drinker, they offer cute seasonal flights here but I’m more of a matcha gal and theirs is *chefs kiss*🤌🏼. Their waffles and avocado toasts are also really good too.

After we ate, we headed to Enso’s second surprise for the trip – a kids horseback experience at Hidden Palms Ranch. He learned how to care for the horses and was guided on a trail too! They do also have riding for adults and kids ages 10+ available if you don’t have little ones or your kids are older. Definitely a great spot worth checking out!

Day Three

If you know me, you know I’ve been all about decorating lately so I thought it would be fun to actually make my own unique piece for the house! Not sure if our day 3 activity in Orlando North was more for me or Enso, but we all loved it.

Before we headed to paint, we grabbed lunch at SusHi Eat Station where we built our own *GIANT* sushi burritos.  They have a bunch of toppings to choose from including tofu as a protein option! 10/10 recommend.

After we stuffed our bellies, we headed to Pottery U Paint where you can choose from tons of ceramic sculptures, paint them and leave it overnight to be glazed and cured. Enso painted a dragon, I designed a decor tray and my husband painted his and hers sake cups for us. This was a blast and is perfect for kids or even a date night idea!
