Along the way, indulge in local flavors, discover new thrills at arcades and attractions, and make lasting memories at the Central Florida Zoo. Whether you’re seeking fun, relaxation, or a bit of both, this itinerary has something for every member of the family.
Day One
Congo River Golf
This 18-hole minigolf course is located in Altamonte Springs. Not only does it offer minigolf, but there is a scavenger hunt included while you play. It makes it fun to look around while you putt. The scenery is really pretty too with lots of caves, waterfalls and décor. We fed the gators afterwards on a string with freeze dried chicken. Definitely a highlight for the kids.
Elev8 Fun
Elev8 in Sanford has so much to offer for all ages. They have a ropes course, minigolf, laser tag, a big arcade, bowling, go-karts, axe throwing and an omni arena VR. They also run lots of weekly specials so you can get more activities in for the whole family. The kids love the laser tag and our favorite is the arcade. We could stay in here and play for hours.
Day Two
Lukas Nursery & Butterfly Encounter
This nursery has all the tools you need to start a garden or maintain your lawn. Not only that, they have a beautiful butterfly garden inside. In the last room, you can even touch the butterflies or put them on your nose. It was such a fun experience, and they provide nectar that the butterflies love. I also loved all the unique items they had in their souvenir shop of butterflies or even treats made out of honey.
The Crepevine
Crepevine in Altamonte Springs has a big variety of sweet and savory crepes to choose from. The kids loved the sweet ones with chocolate and my husband and I love the savory ones. They have also fresh salads for an even healthier option. Great to try for any meal of the day.
Planet Obstacle
Planet Obstacle is a great place to stop in the late afternoon and let your kids burn some of that energy off. They absolutely loved the trampoline park, running and jumping around everywhere. They also have a ninja course for both adults and kids, bumper cars, rock climbing wall and more. You can easily spend a few hours just having fun here in all sorts of different obstacle courses.
Day Three
Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
The Central Florida Zoo in Sanford has many different animal exhibits and some you can even feed. We love feeding the giraffes and the barn animals. We met a cute alpaca named Jake and a giraffe named Gage who were both very gentle and loved being fed. They also have an indoor Herpetarium with lots of venomous snakes from around the world.
Krazy Greek Ktichen
Krazy Greek Kitchen really blew us away with the all the options they have. We loved how authentic the dishes were and everything had so much flavor. You can tell they make everything in-house with how fresh everything tasted. Even if you have picky kids, they have great options for them too. I would go back for the pita and tzatziki sauce as well as for that Chicken Aegean. My husband loved his Gyro Platter too, which they said was a hot seller. It has become a favorite in Lake Mary, Florida.
Arcade Monsters Oviedo
Arcade Monsters in Oviedo is one of the biggest arcades we’ve seen here in Florida. The best part is that you only pay once, and you can play all day long. They have everything from old school arcade games like Donkey Kong to newer games like Mario Kart racing. They also have shooting games, racing, pinball and even a Switch to play Super Smash Brothers. This arcade can appeal to all ages since there is such a great variety. It’s a must visit if you love video games.
