We all need a little retail therapy now and again, and there’s no place better to get your fill than Orlando North, Seminole County. With some of the best outlets, malls and antique shops in the area, we suggest you grab your bags and head out to the following five locations.
a. Colonial Town Park
Colonial Town Park in Lake Mary has a number of cool stores, restaurants, services and more. Set up as an outdoor plaza, this is a beautiful place to shop and even people watch. You can grab a pint and a meal, get a haircut, go shopping, get groceries, catch a movie and more.
b. Uptown Altamonte
For convenient shopping and a plethora of places to eat, drink and be entertained, visit Uptown Altamonte. With Cranes Roost right there, the area is picturesque, and browsing through the brick-and-mortar stores feels way more satisfying than online shopping ever could.
c. Historic Sanford
Charm, thy name is Downtown Historic Sanford. With lovely brick buildings right on Lake Monroe, Historic Sanford is very walkable (especially on the beautiful Riverwalk) and has many cute antique and vintage shops, retail spots, restaurants, breweries and more.
d. Oviedo Mall
Sometimes you just want the classic mall—and Oviedo has you covered (literally). Escape the Florida heat by walking in the large air-conditioned mall, and finding all your mall favorites like Dillards, LOFT, Pandora, Pagoda, Bath & Body Works, Barnes & Noble, GameStop and more. Inside you’ll find a Regal Cinema and a food court to die for, so be prepared. You may never want to leave!
e. Altamonte Mall
If you’re looking for an upscale mall, we recommend Altamonte Mall. Find premium brands like Apple, H&M, Macy’s, JCPenney, Dillard’s, American Eagle, Express, Forever 21, GAP and more. With an AMC theater and great sit-down restaurants like Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, Friendly Confines and Miller’s Orlando Ale House, you could spend the whole day here, shopping to your heart’s content.
